What do you need:

-Handful of strawberries (5 or 6)
-The juice of 2 lemons
-A sweetener (I used honey but agave works best)
-Water
-Vanilla bean (optional)

So first of you need to clean your strawberries and cut of their heads! Doesn’t really matter how they look because we are going to blend them up.

After your strawberries are all blended up, you need to strain them so most of the seeds are out of that mixture. Next you need the juice of 2 lemons, this does depend on how sour you want it. I used 2 lemons but I think 1 1/2 would be enough. Add the lemon juice to the mixed and strained strawberries and then fill up your glass with water. I had enough for 2 glasses, so I divided half of this mixture in another glass and then filled both glasses with water and ice. Then you need to sweeten your lemonade, I used honey but I think agave works the best, I didn’t have any so I used honey. At the end I added in some vanilla bean but you don’t have to, I just like it in my lemonade.

It’s that easy! This really was delicious and fast to make, so refreshing on hot days like these.

I hope you will try this recipe out! If you leave out the strawberry you got some tasty regular lemonade!

See you soon,
