As you may know Starbucks has a secret menu and I tried a few out.
This drink has been all over the internet and long after followed the blue, purple, green and orange drink. I of course wanted to know what the fuzz was about.
Strawberry açai refresher with coconut milk.
I really liked this drink, it was so delicious. Refreshing as it should be and yet creamy from the coconut milk. If you want to make this drink at home, I have a recipe on my blog which you can find here.
The green drink
After being so being so surprised in a good way by the pink drink I decided I needed to try the green drink.
Iced black tea with matcha powder made with coconut milk.
This drink was disappointing, I had such high hopes for this drink. Matcha with black tea and coconut milk sounds amazing and you would think this could be bad but it was. I really wanted to like this drink but .. no this is not for me.
Cotton candy frappuccino
I know this drink is a winner because I have tried this drink many many times. The perfect dessert frappuccino! I know that cotton candy frappuccino sounds like it would be really sweet and over the top but don’t let the name fool you.
Vanilla bean frappuccino with one pump (two is better) raspberry syrup for a tall.
Like I said this drink is really good, on the picture there is no whipping cream because it was made at a Starbucks where they made every drink we and others ordered were made wrong, the first time they mad it, it was without the raspberry syrup.
I just looked back on my Instagram to see if I had another picture of this drink and I found one from three years ago, I discovered this secret drink because Bethany Mota posted a picture on Instagram and it looked so good that I had to try it out.
This drink is just as the cotton candy frappuccino a drink I tried a while ago. I had just tried the butterbeer in the Harry Potter World in Universal Studios so I wanted to see if this secret starbucks drink would taste the same.
Ask for a creme frappuccino base, add three pumps caramel syrup and three pumps toffee nut syrup (this is for a grande), top with caramel drizzle.
This obviously was good but sweet, to me it doesn’t taste like the butterbeer in the Harry Potter world but it is still good. If you want to make your own butterbeer, I have a recipe on my blog here.
Drinks I still want to try
-Cinnamon roll frappuccino; Vanilla bean frappuccino, add white mocha syrup (1 pump for tall) and add cinnamon dolce syrup (1 pump for tall)
– The Blue drink: Passion ice tea with soy milk and vanilla syrup
–The purple drink: Passion ice tea with soy milk, vanilla syrup and blackberries
–Sour gummy refresher: Valencia orange refresher with raspberry syrup and peach syrup
Which drink of the Starbucks secret menu do you want to try, you can find the secret menu here.
See you soon,
