Nice cream, a guilt free ice cream.
I am obsessed with this, it’s perfect to eat for breakfast or dessert. I might even love this more then smoothie bowls.
What do you need to make nice cream:
-3 frozen bananas
-1 tablespoon peanut butter
-1 teaspoon cacao powder (unsweetened)
-A splash soy milk
- In a blender mix together the frozen bananas, cacao powder and peanut butter and a splash soy milk.
- You can add more cacao powder if you like a strong chocolate flavor, I don’t so I only put in a teaspoon.
- This is pretty hard to blend so I begin with a splash of soy milk but if it gets really hard to blend just add in a bit more. You really want the consistency of ice cream.
- When everything is blended you can add your toppings. I added some chopped dates, cacao nibs, golden kiwi, blueberries, broken flax seeds and coconut flakes.
I really like the cacao nibs in this, it hasn’t got a strong chocolate flavor and is actually healthy. I got the raw cacao nibs and I found it at the super food section in the super market.
This is a perfect breakfast for on hot days and this week it has been ,and still really is, hot. A large glass water and vitamins on the sides and I am good to go in the morning. Also a perfect moment to watch some Netflix, I just finished watching “Don’t trust the B- in apt 23” and I am sad that they cancelled it because it was a fun show to watch. But now I am watching “Sons of Anarchy”, I already saw the first 5 seasons and it’s so good. I really keeps me in suspense, you never know what will happen next and a lot happens on one episode. If you haven’t seen it yet, you really should.
